At the interplay of light and shadow, space ceases to be merely what the eyes see. The skin senses the shifting of warmth; the eyes adjust from brightness to dimness, the dilation of the pupils like a subtle, deep breath. The everyday actions of walking, sitting, and lying down suddenly gain a depth of breath within these folds of light and dark. It is in these unintentional transitions that the home reveals its quiet essence, offering a wordless, almost instinctual comfort.

Light is tamed here. The designer does not crudely splash a stark white but, like a gold prospector, patiently sifts. The light strips hide in the creases of the ceiling, the beams as if soaked in lukewarm water, heavy as they fall on the floor, then climb the walls, pooling into a soft twilight in the corners. Walking through, one's shadow stretches long and overlays faintly.
整间屋子，几乎是挂在光上的，那几面从地到天的大窗，不是镶在墙里，更像是把天空和街树的绿意直接裁下一块，框进来，成了屋内流动的壁画，光，成了最慷慨的住客，从不敲门，径直漫过地板，爬上桌面，在墙壁上勾勒出瞬息万变的、树枝摇晃的剪影，人站在其中，视线轻易就滑出窗外很远，身体却奇异地感到一种被包裹的轻盈——空间在光里溶解了边界。
The entire house seems suspended by light. The floor-to-ceiling windows are not mere inlays in the walls but appear to have cut a piece of the sky and the greenery of the street trees, framing them as a flowing mural within. Light becomes the most generous guest, never knocking, freely spreading across the floor, climbing onto surfaces, tracing the ever-changing silhouettes of swaying branches on the walls. Standing amidst it, one's gaze effortlessly glides out the window to the distance, while the body strangely feels a sense of lightness, as if wrapped — the space dissolves boundaries in the light.

Here, light and shadow are not mere glazes on the surface of space; they are the sinews embedded in the very bones of the beams and columns. The designer uses the intensity of light in place of plaster moldings, and the depth of shadow to carve out the thickness of walls.
推门踏入卧房，光便自动调低了音量，这里的设计，收起了白昼里那些关于影的锋利戏剧，转而在指尖和鼻息间铺陈，比例被拿捏得微妙，多一分空旷，少一分局促，此刻刚刚好，是身体陷入柔软前，那一声无声的喟叹。
Pushing the door open to step into the bedroom, the light automatically dims. The design here retracts the sharp drama of shadows from the daytime, instead spreading subtly across fingertips and breath. The proportions are finely tuned, neither too spacious nor too cramped, but just right, like that silent sigh before the body sinks into softness.
